NEW:   Adult Snowboard Group Lessons

Picture
Attention Adults: Snowboarding is for all ages. Our inaugural ADULT SNOWBOARD GROUP LESSON concept is designed for adults who want to learn how to snowboard, but may have concerns. This lesson is for adults 25+.

Some adults worry about safety and the possibility of injury. We can help you to feel confident and participants will only move at the pace that's right for them.

It’s also for those adults who may not want to be seen by their peers or children as they learn – for those who may feel that if only they could secretly attempt snowboarding without anyone seeing them, then they could get over being timid and learn to love a new sport free of any potential embarrassment.

Our director of snowboarding and head snowboard instructor, Mike Deck, learned to snowboard at the age of 40 after watching his children learn. “My children fell in love with snowboarding, and I didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to spend time with them. I took lessons at 8:00 p.m. for a full season when the hill wouldn’t be crowded and at a time when, basically, my kids would not be there. The rest is history. Even though my wife and I are now empty nesters, I still look forward to the opportunity for that annual chair lift ride and slide with Dad.”

This 3-week program is designed for people just like Mike.
