Pre-Season Training Opportunities

Thank you to everyone who made our August 12 Skate to Ski event a success!

Skiers and snowboarders had a blast getting ready for the upcoming season, catching up with friends, and gaining the advantage of a special training session this past Saturday with Heidi Ettlinger from PSIA/AASI-Central at the Skate to Ski clinic held at Pine Knob Ski and Snowboard Resort.

We started with roller blading exercises to help improve our balance, improve our accuracy in movement, and establish some new approaches. Then we headed over to the lodge for further discussion and exercises.

We loved the autonomy the clinic provided to participants of all levels. It was a day filled with SMILES and FUN, and we are so excited to hit the slopes this winter with our newfound skills and knowledge!

Thank you, Heidi, for your dedication to snow sports and sharing your enthusiasm and knowledge with our ski school!
