SUPER C RACE OVERVIEW

Join us for the Inaugural KAJ Super C Race 2021 on Sunday March 7, 2021, 9:00 a.m. at Pine Knob Ski and Snowboard Resort. This event is hosted by the Pine Knob Ski and Snowboard School. This is a fun race to remember our friend Kathy A. Jannsen and all the contributions she made to the ski racing community. Proceeds will benefit the Kathy A. Janssen Foundation and Michigan Adaptive Sports.

The racing format is one run Easy Slalom, one run Easy Super G, and two runs of GS.

It's two races in one!

There will be door prizes and a silent auction. This event is open to everyone and is supported by the ski industry. The race is sure to be THE BEST RACE of the SEASON! Registration is limited to 250 and is expected to sell out. Help spread the word, start waxing your skis, and get ready for one the the best races ever!

DOOR PRIZES AND SILENT AUCTION

The prizes are rolling in! The ski industry is getting behind this great cause. This might be a case where the prize raffle alone is worth the entry fee. The door prizes will include at least five pair of skis and a snowboard. Our silent auction will include another three pair. Here are some highlights:

  • You might be taking home A pair of ATOMIC SKIING Redsters (with bindings) courtesy of The Peak Ski and Sports
  • Or you might be the winner of a pair of Blizzard Firebirds courtesy of Shumaker's Ski & Snowboard
  • Win a pair of beautiful high-end Zeal Optics goggles and sunglasses. Thank you to Matt Gasser and Zeal for this great item.
  • There are even skis for the wee grom. These Elan Junior Futuristic (2022) skis come in a choice of sizes 120 cm-150 cm with bindings donated by Ray Skelton of Elan/Roxa.
  • Additional skis have been donated by Don Thomas Sporthaus of Birmingham, the Ski Company LTD of Rochester, and more.
